Expand Your Farm to 26×26 Grand Plantation in FarmVille

After much teasing and rumors, Zynga has finally released the next land expansion in FarmVille, bringing the current maximum size to 26 squares by 26 squares

Before you panic, though, know that the expansion (entitled Grand Plantation) is being rolled out to all users slowly, as most major releases in the game are, to help avoid any problems that might arise otherwise (that is, if all 63 million players were given access at once).

At this time, Farm Expansions can be obtained through two methods. Players can:

1. 
   
   Purchase the expansion with Farm Cash
2. 
   
   Unlock the expansion through the neighbor requirements and then purchase the land with coins
   
   
   
   
   Even if you don’t have access to the expansion as of yet, here’s what you can expect when you do:

You’ll need either 80 Farm Cash to purchase the expansion outright, or will have to meet a series of requirements to purchase it for coins. First, you must add five new neighbors to your total neighbor count, bringing you to at least 35 in total. Once you meet those two stipulations, you will have access to purchase the land expansion for a whopping 2  million coins.

The addition of the new neighbor stipulation should give you more time to save up the necessary funds, should you lack a 2 million+ coin total currently.
